Sacred Activism is a one-day journey into the heart of yoga as a tool for personal and global transformation. Guided by Sharon Gannon, you’ll explore the principles of ahimsa (nonviolence), devotion, and the interconnectedness of all beings through a rich mix of asana, chanting, meditation, music, and deep spiritual philosophy. You’ll also engage in meaningful conversations around conscious living, veganism, ecological sustainability, and how yoga can be practiced as a daily act of compassion and purpose. This event is not just a retreat — it’s an awakening.

Sharon Gannon

Sharon Gannon is an American yoga teacher, animal rights advocate, musician, author, dancer, and choreographer. Along with David Life, she co-founded the Jivamukti Yoga method in 1984, a style that integrates physical practice with spiritual teachings, emphasizing compassion, nonviolence, and environmentalism. Gannon is known for her work in promoting veganism and has authored several books on yoga and animal right
